Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today removed Danyon Lyndel Dowlen from the Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives after locating him in Evansville, Indiana.
Danyon “Dan Dan” L. Dowlen, 39, was arrested on March 27, 2013 by the U.S. Marshal’s Evansville Office. After information was received placing Dowlen in Evansville, a request was sent to the local U.S. Marshal’s Office from Nashville. A team from the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force entered a residence at 1604 Morton Avenue in Evansville, Indiana locating Dowlen. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail in Evansville for extradition.
Danyon Dowlen was placed on the TBI Top Ten Most Wanted for Felony Possession of a Weapon and Homicide by the Clarksville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Weapons were found at the residence belonging to Dowlen. The ATF is pursuing additional federal weapons charges in addition to the original Tennessee charges.
