The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested Kevin D. Vanhooser, age 49 of Cornersville for Aggravated Assault yesterday.
On January 2, 2014, and at the request of the District Attorney General Robert Carter, TBI began an investigation on Vanhooser. He owns the Vanhooser’s Dairy Farm in Cornersville and serves as a Marshall County Commissioner. On January 1. 2014, Vanhooser shot one of his employeees during a dispute with the employee on January 1, 2014. The worker was identified as Jesus Montes Tellez.
Yesterday, a Marshall County Grand jury returned an indictment for Aggravated Assault. Vanhooser has been arrested and booked into the Marshall County jail on a $7,500 bond.
