Offices to Close for Christmas Holiday 2024 and New Years Day 2025

The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities at 624 West Commerce Street Lewisburg will be closed December 24th-26th for the Christmas holiday. The office will reopen Friday, December 27th at 8 am.

The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities at 624 West Commerce Street Lewisburg will be closed December 31st-January 1st for the New Year holiday. The office will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2025.

"In 2013, the Lewisburg Animal Shelter Volunteers began a twice-weekly program on WJJM called “Marshall County Pet Patrol”. The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly. Thank you to the entire staff at WJJM, and our sponsor, Veterinary Services of Chapel Hill…together we are saving the lives of precious fur babies."
