Offices to Close in Observance of Veterans Day 2024

1. The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities at 624 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day. The office will reopen Tuesday, November 12th at 8:00 am.

2. The Marshall County Courthouse, Courthouse Annex, Hardison Annex, and Probation Office will be closed Monday, November 11,2024 in observance of Veterans Day.

3. All Lewisburg City Offices will be closed Monday, November 11,2024 in observance of Veterans Day.

Marshall County Meetings November 2024

1. The Marshall County Personnel and Policy Committee will meet Wednesday morning November 13th, 2024, at 9 :00am in the Marshall County Commission room located in the Courthouse Annex at 101 West Commerce Street in Lewisburg, TN.

2. The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, November 19, 2024, 9:00 am at 624 West Commerce Street, Lewisburg TN in the Doug Rogers Board Room.

3. The Marshall County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors will have their regular scheduled monthly meeting November 26, 2024 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the Marshall County EOC office located at 230 College St., Lewisburg, TN.

4. The Marshall County Board of Commissioners Regular monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 25th at 6:00 pm in the Board Meeting room at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex.

South Central Human Resource Agency Food Giveaway November 2024

The next two commodity giveaway dates for Marshall County will be held by the South-Central Human Resource Agency at Greater 1st Baptist Church located at 512 6th Avenue North in Lewisburg on Thursday, November 14th from9 to 10 am. This is a drive through event. The new fiscal year started on October 1st for SCHRA. If you have not registered from 10-01-24 to present date, please call the SCHRA office at 359-6393 to register. This helps the line to keep moving at the site during the giveaway. Again call 359-6393 to register for the new fiscal year if you have not already done so. This is the last give away for 2024. The next giveaway date will be held Wednesday, January 8th.

City Meetings November 2024

The Industrial Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will not have a regular monthly meeting in November 2024.

The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a work session on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Monday, November 11th, in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.

The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly council meeting, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

The City of Lewisburg Planning & Zoning Commission will meet in their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

Lewisburg Gas Dept. Monthly Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 4:00 p.m. at the Gas Department, 505 N. Ellington Parkway, Lewisburg.

 

 

Marshall County Ranks #2 in Early Voter Turnout

10/21/24

Early voting totals for the state of Tennessee through Friday, October 18th were 654,249. Marshall County is currently ranked 2nd with 19.71% of registered voters casting their votes early. The votes casts in Marshall Conty were 4, 540.
