On the afternoon of May 18, 2013, deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call at 1242 Yell Road. When deputies arrived, they were not able to make contact with the occupant of the residence, Bradley Wright, but did come in contact with the property owner, James Wright, Bradley Wright’s father.
While on the property, deputies noticed a barn door that was open and they were able to see marijuana growing inside, according to Sheriff Norman Dalton. Sheriff Dalton contacted members of the 17th Judicial Drug Task Force, who arrived to assist in the investigation.
Marshall County deputies and agents of the 17th Judicial Drug Task Force were able to disassemble and seize a very elaborate hydroponic marijuana grow operation that contained over 200 marijuana plants being grown at 1242 and 1250 Yell Road. Sheriff Dalton went on to say that if this marijuana grow operation had not been discovered, it would have put pounds of high grade marijuana on the streets. This case will be presented to an upcoming Marshall County Grand Jury.
