1. All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Monday, September 4th in observation of the Labor Day Holiday.
2. The Mayor and Council for the City of Lewisburg will conduct interviews with selected candidates for the position of City Recorder/Human Resource Representative on Monday, September 11th and Wednesday, September 13th beginning at 3:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
3. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly meeting, Tuesday, September 12th at 6:00 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.
4. The Lewisburg Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will hold their regular meeting Tuesday, September 19th, – 5:00 p.m. in the large conference room at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, 1551 Mooresville Hwy.
5. The Budget Committee for the City of Lewisburg will meet on Wednesday, September 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A SPECIAL CALL MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEWISBURG is to be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 3:30 pm., Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street. The purpose of the Special Call Meeting will be for considering and taking such action as the Council may deem necessary and to the public interest relative to the following item(s) of business:
a. Financial update from outgoing City Treasurer.
b. Discuss Health Care Plan for 2024.
c. Discuss plan for filling the City Treasurer vacancy.
6. The Lewisburg Gas Department Monthly Board meeting will be held Tuesday, September 26th at 4 pm at 505 North Ellington Parkway, Lewisburg.
7. The Community Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, September 26th at 12:00 p.m., at the Historic 1st Avenue Building, located at 207 1st Ave. N.
