City Meetings November 2024

The Industrial Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will not have a regular monthly meeting in November 2024.

The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a work session on Tuesday, November 5th at 5:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Monday, November 11th, in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.

The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly council meeting, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

The City of Lewisburg Planning & Zoning Commission will meet in their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

Lewisburg Gas Dept. Monthly Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 4:00 p.m. at the Gas Department, 505 N. Ellington Parkway, Lewisburg.

"In 2013, the Lewisburg Animal Shelter Volunteers began a twice-weekly program on WJJM called “Marshall County Pet Patrol”. The purpose was two-fold, first to talk about new intakes with the hope of finding their rightful owners and second, to help find adopters by describing all of our current residents in detail. The results have far exceeded our expectations, and thanks in a big way to our radio exposure our adoption rates have increased significantly. Thank you to the entire staff at WJJM, and our sponsor, Veterinary Services of Chapel Hill…together we are saving the lives of precious fur babies."
