The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities at 624 West Commerce Street Lewisburg will be closed Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of President’s Day. The office will reopen Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

All offices of the City of Lewisburg will be closed on Monday, February 17th, 2025, in observation of the Presidents’ Day.

1. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a regular monthly work session Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.

2. The Industrial Development Board will hold a regular monthly meeting on February 10th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at the Historic 1st Avenue Building, located at 207 1st Ave. N.

3. The Lewisburg Water & Wastewater Board will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at Lewisburg Water Department, 100 Water Street.

4. The Mayor and Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly council meeting, Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

5. The City of Lewisburg Planning & Zoning Commission will meet in their regular session on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the City of Lewisburg, 131 East Church Street.

6. The Lewisburg Gas Board will meet in their regular session on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at Lewisburg Gas Department, 505 North Ellington Pkwy

7. The Lewisburg Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will not have a regular meeting for the month of February 2025.

8. The Lewisburg Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will hold a Work Session Meeting on February 26, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the small conference room at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, 1551 Mooresville Hwy.

9. The Budget Committee for the City of Lewisburg will meet on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 E. Church Street.
Lewisburg Electric System will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday February 24th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., at the Lewisburg Electric System, located at 599 West Ellington Pkwy.

10. The Community Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular monthly meeting Tuesday February 25th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at the Historic 1st Avenue Building, located at 207 1st Ave. N.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting sobriety roadside safety
checkpoints during the week of 2/21/25 on STATE ROUTE 99 at mile marker 7 in Marshall County starting at 10:00PM.

Impaired driving is a serious crime that kills more than 16,000 people and injures
305,000 people every year in the United States. Troopers will evaluate drivers for
signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Troopers will target those who operate a
vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed
while ensuring the protection of all motorists.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol recognizes that sobriety checkpoints are highly
visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.
